La Verne Chamber of Commerce and Global e-Recyclers will be sponsoring a free E-Waste Fundraising Event on March 3 & 4, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The E-Waste Fundraising event will be held at DPI Labs, 1350 Arrow Highway in La Verne.

Recyclable items include: Monitors, LCDs, computers, keyboards and mice, cables, shredders, toners, televisions, laptops, printers, telephones, copiers, DVDs, VCRs, and all other electronics. We will not be accepting any household and kitchen appliances or florescent bulbs.

Electronic waste contains toxic materials such as mercury, lead, and arsenic. It is illegal to discard e-waste in landfills. This e-waste recycling event will benefit the La Verne Chamber of Commerce, and will keep our local communities and our environment safe. Global e-Recyclers are working to keep 100 percent of e-waste out of landfills. It’s free. It’s convenient.
