WHO SAID THERE’S NO FREE LUNCH? Seniors Invited to Meet with Santa

santaclaus32The City of La Verne is sponsoring a Christmas luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 11:30 a.m. for all seniors 60 and over. The event will be held at the La Verne Community Center and includes a visit with Santa, a special lunch, entertainment and a free raffle.

The luncheon is catered by YWCA Intervale and is free for all seniors, courtesy of the City of La Verne. Those in attendance of this special luncheon will be entertained by the Ramona Jazz Band and have a chance to visit with Santa courtesy of Inter Valley Health Plan. The menu includes maple glazed ham, fresh sweet potatoes, asparagus, Caesar salad, cream of squash soup, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and milk.
