Saint John’s Episcopal Church, at 4745 Wheeler Avenue in La Verne, offers a Career Crossroads Ministry for anyone in a job transition for any reason.  It’s an opportunity to plug into a spiritual connection and network with people in your own community to receive job leads and hand-out materials.  People are finding employment!

Guest speakers and clergy provide job-seeking insights, practical guidance, spiritual reflection, and a loving and prayerful support system for those unemployed, underemployed or just looking for a new career.  “You don’t have to go through this difficult time alone; it really does help to travel this road with others,” a Crossroads Ministry official said.

The Career Crossroads Ministry group meets on the first and third Sundays of the month after the 10 a.m. service. Attendees enjoy a free light lunch in Vicenti Hall, then gather for a meeting in the sanctuary.  For more information, contact Saint John’s Deacon Barrett at (909) 596-1321.
