La Verne Rotary Offers College Cash — $6,000 to Be Exact!

Kelsey Graeber was the 2010 recipient of the La Verne Rotary Scholarship.

Yes, it’s that time of year again when the Rotary Club is proud to announce it will award a college scholarship to a graduating senior high school student who is a La Verne resident and qualifies by participating in the competition. The student may attend any high school in the area but must reside in La Verne.

If interested, contact your school counselor for an application or you may call Cal Stephens at (909) 593-9708 for more information. This scholarship is $1,500 a year for four years.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 2, 2011.
