9:53 a.m.

Subjects with handguns were dropped off in a silver car; after unsuccessful attempt to rob bank, suspects seen fleeing toward Orchard Supply.

Suspicious Circumstances

1900 block of Third St. – ULV

9:56 p.m.

Reporting Person advising he just got a call from his 21-year-old daughter who attends ULV and stated she was walking on campus and was approached by a subject in a vehicle who pulled up to her, opened the door and told her to get in. Reporting Person states his daughter walked away from the vehicle. Reporting Person immediately told his daughter to hang up and call police.

9:16 a.m.

Theft of a water heater occurred between Jan 12-17.

Auto Tampering

2600 block of F. St.

1:20 p.m.

Reporting Person’s vehicle tampered with. Steel pellet put in the engine. Possibly occurred at 2600 block of F. St. Reporting person en route to Dynamic Automotive, occurred between 1/14 – 1/15 while parked in the driveway. Unknown suspect placed a steel ball bearing in the engine intake which caused $5,000 worth of damage.

Subject attempted to get in front door in rear yard. Subject scared off by resident. Last seen running from back yard to front yard.

Two vehicles were left unlocked. GPS and car charger taken from one vehicle and second vehicle ransacked.
