TEAM Referral Network Teams Up Against Homelessness

Reports say that 1 in 50 U.S. kids are homeless and it is a growing statistic. Families with children comprise roughly one-third of the nation’s homeless population. TEAM Referral Network and some local charities decided to work together on the Fifth Annual TEAM Referral Network Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Sierra La Verne Country Club to benefit each of their organizations.    

Fifth Annual TEAM Referral Network Community Outreach Program and their Fifth Annual TEAM Charity Golf Tournament help’s non-profits that have a focus on children and families in the local area. “Positively impact our members businesses and the community to which they belong has always been apart of TEAM Referral Network’s mission. We encourage all members to give back to the community,” stated Kelli Holmes, Founder of TEAM Referral Network.

TEAM Referral Network is proud to have many wonderful local, national and international charities as chapter members. The mission of the participating charities with the Fifth Annual Golf Tournament is to focus on improving the lives of children and families. TEAM Referral Network is excited to be working with David & Margaret Youth and Family Services, McKinley Children’s Center, National Pacific Islander Educator Network (NPIEN), Pomona Valley Workshop, Rosemary Children’s Services, Soroptimist International of Covina/West Covina Chapter, and The Foundation for Community and Family Health this year.

All donations raised this year will be divided among the participating charities. Registration for golfers is only $115 if register before November 5th. Registration includes green fees, lunch, goodie bags, range balls, cart and dinner/mixer. Not a golfer? Not a problem, there will be a dinner and business mixer later that night for only $29.00 per person.
