Mikey James Quevedo has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America. He is the first in his troop to receive this honor for the 100-year anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Mikey began his scouting experience with Cub Scout Pack 102 at 1st Christian church in Pomona and earned the rank of Arrow of Light, the highest award in Cub Scouting.

Mikey continued his Boy Scout experience at Troop 411 at the United Methodist Church in La Verne. His Eagle Scout Leadership project was planning and helping build a baseball field for the David & Margaret’s Girls home in the city of La Verne. Mikey is a recent graduate of Bonita High School.

Mikey is the son of Mike and Adrienne Quevedo. The date for his Court of Honor is Saturday, Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in La Verne.
