Bill Drayer of La Verne Vons Wants You to Tee it Up for Muscular Dystrophy

Vons wants everyone to get into the swing of things by participating in the Vons District 52 Golf Tournament to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Aug. 30, 2010, at the beautiful Western Hills Country Club in Chino Hills.

As usual, Vons is bringing you great value. For 18 holes of golf and a full-course dinner, the fee is only $100. All donations are 100 percent tax deductible.

Funds raised by the tournament will benefit hundreds of local children and adults living with a neuromuscular disease by providing the necessary financial support for diagnostic and treatment services, as well as vital research projects seeking a final cure.

Besides playing there are many other ways to participate in this year’s tournament.  Supporters can donate auction items, sponsor a hole, or help underwrite other planned fundraising activities.

The entry fee deadline is Aug. 28, 2010. Check in on the day of the event, Aug. 30, is 9:30 a.m. with tee off starting at 11 a.m. Dress code is strictly enforced.
