Bonita High School Senior Taylor Anderson has committed to attend Loyola Marymount University in 2011 and play basketball on a full-ride scholarship. The LMU coaching staff has been following her progress since head coach Julie Wilhoit saw her play in a pre-season game against South Hills High in December last year. After watching her play in several high school games as well as NCAA certified events in Orange County, Oregon, and Las Vegas the scholarship offer was made. Taylor has met with all members of the Lions coaching staff and made several visits to the campus. She feels the basketball program and the school is a great fit for her. Taylor credits most of her success to great team mates and inspiring coaches over the years.
Taylor will sign her National Letter of Intent during the early signing period in the second week of November.
LMU, which plays in the West Coast Conference, finished 15-17 last season.

Congratulations to a talented and competitive young lady. Taylor’s been a “player” since her days in the La Verne “Mighty Mites” program.
This year is going to be a great ride for the whole program.
Keep up the great work.
