La Verne's Michael Jacobellis, a former baseball star at Bonita and UC Davis, was in town for the parade. Tomorrow, he and his lovely fiancee are getting married!
If it's La Verne's Troop 411, 80-years-young, Marcia, Troop 411's fearless scoutmaster, who is celebrating 25 years of scouting, must be near by.
Now if Marcia's is celebrating 25 years of scouting and Troop 411 is celebrating 80 years of service, what percent of time has Marcia served as the troop's scoutmaster? Can someone please call La Verne's math whiz, Ian Sigsworth, to get the answer.

La Verne’s 4th of July Parade wended its way through town, featuring a pageant of antique cars, horses, sports teams, school clubs, cheerleaders, dancers, bands and spontaneous demonstrations that were applauded by thousands of residents who lined the streets to watch the patriotic procession.
After the parade concluded, people flocked to a county-style fair on the lush green lawn at Bonita High School, where the city was handing out fresh watermelon slices and the kids shuffled from bounce house to bounce house, rode ponies and got to free dance on the big stage.
Tomorrow the celebration continues with fireworks at Glenn Davis Stadium on the Bonita campus.
