What a difference a weekend makes. A week ago, University of La Verne students were graduating and moving out of the downtown area and this past weekend, the classic cars moved in, more than 200 of them shined to a brilliant spit polish and gleaming from bumper to brilliant hood ornament.

The classic cars, antiques, hot rods and other hot cars and motorcycles of interest were all part of the annual “Cruisin La Verne” show held to benefit the LeRoy Haynes Center in La Verne.

The Platinum Sponsor for the car show was Nationwide Insurance, and United Agencies was the Gold Sponsor.  PT Cruisers of Orange County also sponsored the event.

Arun Tolia of Arun Home Realty served as event chair, and Connie LaMarche, President and Founder of Cruisin’ La Verne, was senior contact for the show.
