The La Verne Chamber of Commerce is offering its annual trip to China for the fifth year in a row. This eight-day excursion departs Los Angeles on Oct. 17 and returns Oct. 25. The turn out last year was amazing, and although everyone is being hit hard with this recession, the price is right.

 

For the reasonable price of $1,899, you will receive round-trip airfare, four- and five- star hotel accommodations, three full meals daily, deluxe tour buses with English-speaking tour guides, admission tickets to tourist attractions and a business partner’s dinner/ conference. All applicable airport taxes also are paid for you.

 

The first stop on the itinerary is beautiful Beijing, where you will see the Olympic sites, the Great Wall, Tian An Men Square, The Forbidden City and Summer Palace, along with many other great sites.

 

The last stop on the itinerary is stunning Shanghai, where you will visit the Bund, a famous waterfront park, and a shopping trip to the Pudong Economic Development Zone.

 

Also available is an optional trip to Xi’an. This trip is recommended for those who are returning to China for the second time. The trip would be an additional $450.
