La Verne Rotary on Fundraising Mission to Support Local Education
Rotary wants to fill the staircase with new members who share the club's mission of serving others.
This year the La Verne Rotary Club’s goal is to raise $20,000 for education programs as the state budget has tightened and students and teachers continue to need resources. The La Verne Rotary Foundation funds education programs such as mini-grants for teachers, college scholarships, the Summer Lunch Program and more.
To raise funds, the club has organized a “Raffle to Benefit Education in La Verne”. Donations are $10 for each ticket and three tickets are $25. First Prize is a 55” Flat Screen Vizio HD Television, second prize is a Mexican cruise for two ($750 value) and the third prize is a $500 Best Buy gift card. All of the funds stay right here in our community and directly benefit the teachers and students locally.

The drawing will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 8:00AM at the regular club meeting. You do not need to be present to win and winners will be notified via phone or mail. Winners will also be listed on the La Verne Rotary website.
The Rotary Club of La Verne is a group of business professionals and community leaders dedicated to the service of others. The club is actively seeking like minded individuals to join our club.
