Playoff Pairings for Volleyball, Water Polo Announced

Bonita water polo, receiving the No. 3 seed in Division 5, was rewarded with a first-round bye and will face either Arlington or La Quinta in the second round on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Bearcats volleyball team, which advanced to the semifinals in 2007 and quarterfinals in 2008, was named the No. 2 seed in Division 3AA. The high seed resulted in a first-round bye, meaning the Bonita will host either Ramona or Silverado at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

CIF football matchups won’t be revealed until Sunday. First, the Bearcats, 2-2 in league, must play Walnut at Glenn Davis Stadium on Friday, Nov. 13.  Make plans to attend the homecoming game, which kicks off at 7 p.m.
