We Know You Can Walk the Walk, But Can You Chalk the Chalk?

Chalk up another upcoming great event!

Our cousins to the West in Glendora are hosting a Chalk Art Festival on Glendora Avenue between Bennett and Foothill this Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This is really cool stuff. The Best of Show winner walks away with a $150 cash prize. Painted Moon Art Supplies is also awarding $50 and $100 gift certificates to the top chalk artists.

Chalk art is an age-old tradition of street painting, so come enjoy the fun, or better yet, be one of the artists. Artists need to be at least 14 years of age. There is a $10 entry fee. The chalk is free.

To participate, register at Painted Moon Art Supplies at 209 N. Glendora Ave, which is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
