Where else can you invest just $40 and in return receive $250 in “casino” chips? That’s the deal that Holy Name of Mary (HNM) is offering as part of its fabulous “Casino Night and Silent/Live Auction” to be held Nov. 21, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Mountain Meadows Country Club in Pomona.

Players can multiply their chips by being lucky at black jack, 3 card poker and roulette, and cash in their winnings for great prizes. There’s no limit to how many tickets players can purchase.

Just like Las Vegas, there will be lots of action and excitement, including free hors d’ oeuvres, a no-host bar and raffles all night long.

“Play a little or play a lot, you’re guaranteed to have a good time, and all the fun goes to support the educational activities of Holy Name of Mary School,” said Casino Night organizer Gary Schwary.

Schwary is also accepting donations for the silent auction. “The more auction items people can bid on will only make the night that much more memorable and enjoyable for everyone who attends,” Schwary added. “Whatever one can contribute will be of great assistance.”
