In addition to the much-anticipated French Music concert set for June 28 (see datebook under “Local”), Saint John’s Episcopal is a year-round center for spiritual guidance and community.

Quilters meet on Thursdays at 9 a.m. at the church. A spectacular Vacation Bible School (VBS) for all ages will run from July 27-31 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This VBS will include dinner, chapel, and separate excellent programs for adults and children. Dr. Charles Frazee, professor of church history, retired, will bring the history of Christianity alive for the adults. Kids will enjoy a Grand Canyon adventure.

Also, Saint John’s invites you to remember others in need and drop off food donations at the church. The congregation will drive them to the food bank. Many thanks to those who have already contributed.

Worship services are held at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sunday and a healing service on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Saint John’s is located at 4745 Wheeler Avenue, 2 blocks north of Baseline in La Verne; 909.596.1321.
