Linco Picture Framing, Inc. was named 2009 San Dimas Improved Commercial Building of the Year by the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Awards Dinner at the Sheraton Suites Fairplex in Pomona on June 3, 2009. Linco is a member of the La Verne Chamber, as well

Linco’s building was constructed in the 1980s and has been occupied over the years by a boat manufacturer, auto restoration company and home builder. Located in the “Heart of San Dimas” for 11 years, Linco Picture Framing is owned by Steve Lindemann.

The renovation turned a nondescript, free-standing building into a retail showplace for everyone in need of picture-framing services, including designers, artists, photographers and collectors of all types. Exterior improvements include an updated color scheme, electric sign and Hawaiian landscaping.

Inside the building, the conference room was eliminated to expand the picture framing showroom and artwork display area. A newly installed plasma TV continuously displays recent examples of Linco’s framing creations and design expertise.

Two large warehouse areas were repurposed to accommodate the assembly process and to house more than 500,000 linear feet of picture framing molding. Energy-efficient lighting has replaced the original outdated lighting throughout the building.

Combining more than 37 years of framing experience, Linco’s  knowledgeable, artistic staff is able to complete customers’ frames, often overnight. Or, do-it-your-selfers can save further by having Steve or his staff walk them through the step-by-step framing process.

Steve’s goal is for Linco to help make framing affordable, so everyone, young and old, can enjoy and appreciate framed art.
