The Old Town La Verne Farmers Market and Family Festival will begin its season on Thursday night, April 2, 2009 and continue every Thursday night through September 3.  The Market and Festival is held on the streets of Old Town La Verne at D Street and Bonita Avenue.  Open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Market features fresh produce, flowers, craft vendors, live entertainment, a variety of tasty food offerings, children’s rides, pony rides, and a petting zoo.  Among the many highlights, visitors can look forward to an expanded selection of fruits and vegetables.  This year’s Market will also feature more local entertainment and youth participation.

“The Farmers Market is a great time to come down and enjoy the beauty and charm of Old Town La Verne and check out the many unique restaurants and shops,” said Hal Fredericksen, Community Development Director for the City.
