LA VERNE, California, November 7, 2017 — On Monday, the La Verne City Council kicked off a patriotic week by saluting two of the town’s newest military members, Nicholas J. Amen (Army) and Marcus Fino (Army). Each honoree’s family was presented with a mini-banner in honor of their sons’ service.
A brief reception followed their public recognition. La Verne now has a total of 68 members serving in the U.S. military.
