Bonita musical director Jeff Bird leads a jam session at last year's Celebration of the Arts.

The fifth annual Celebration of the Arts will be held at the La Verne Church of the Brethren May 5 and 6. Those who wish to participate have until April 6 to submit paintings, sculpture, photography or other forms of art, which will be displayed in the church’s fellowship hall.

 “It is our delight to welcome your creative gifts in this place,” says Pastor Susan Boyer. “We believe that this event allows us the opportunity to form and build new relationships, grow in faith, and nurture the creative spirit within each of us.”

This family-friendly community event is free to all participants and attendees. 

Participation is open to members of our community, which we hope to grow through this event. Please join us & invite your friends.

The Celebration of the Arts is a community-wide celebration for people of all ages to share their visions of life, truth and beauty.

In addition to visual art, music and dance performances are also welcome, as they have become a significant part of the festival’s tradition.

Over the past four years, more than 5,000 people have experienced and enjoyed this event, which has showcased more than 800 artists from the surrounding community
