It’s baseball weather in La Verne, so don’t miss the special Bonita High School Baseball camp, Saturday, Jan. 7 and Sunday, Jan. 8, sponsored by Bonita High School and La Verne Little.
Players, ages 6-14, will receive two great days of baseball instruction directed by Bonita Varsity head coach John Knott. Campers will be instructed on the fundamentals essential for success at the next level, as well as participate in a competitive game.
Learn the winning ways of the successful Bonita baseball program, which continues to send its players top collegiate programs throughout the United States.
Campers will be split into two training groups. Campers, ages 6-12, will train at Pelota Park in La Verne from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Campers, ages 13 and 14, will practice at Bonita High School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Campers should bring a shirt, cap, baseball pants or sweats, and a bat and glove to each session, as well as pack a light lunch. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase.
