For 17 years, La Verne resident Brenda Click has headed the City of La Verne Tennis Program. Now she is adding some new strokes to her game.
Recently, she and her daughter Amanda, a Bonita High School and University of California at Santa Barbara graduate who went on to earn her Masters in Education and Teaching Credential from Azusa Pacific University, have become partners in a summer tutoring company called Advanced Tutoring. Through Advanced Tutoring, they will offer summer instruction to elementary, middle school and high school students in La Verne.
The program couldn’t come at a better time given that many of the city’s elementary schools have had to cancel their summer school offerings. Bonita also has had to curtail its summer school classes.

For those who would like to have their first experience with Creative Writing or Public Speaking, these classes are also being offered.

SAT Prep
