Bonita had won three consecutive Miramonte League championships entering th 2011 season, but with no other schools in the new Hacienda League fielding teams, the Bonita divers participated in invitational and other meets for competition.
Coach Palmer also had two Bishop Amat (La Puente, Calif.) High School divers tie for 1st place at the CIF-SS Div. 4 championship on Wednesday, May 11. Amazingly, both boys, Brandon Rexius and Arian Rodriguez, tied and will now move on to the Masters competition.
