‘Twas The Night Before Christmas Santa and Pajamas Event

Grace Miller

For the third year in a row, Grace Miller Elementary School has an evening dedicated to the kids and helps families in need within the community.  This December 16th, Grace Miller will host their third annual Santa and Pajamas event where the children will come in their pajamas, bring their blankets, and listen to Santa’s elf read the ever popular story, ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas. Cookies, milk, and hot chocolate are served and there are fun activities for the children to do as they anxiously await the arrival of good ‘ol Saint Nick himself. Parents bring their cameras because following the elf’s reading, the children are invited up on the platform to talk with Santa Claus, hand them their wish list and get their photo taken from their parents.

The best part of this event is that families come and bring food and toy donations that are distributed to families in need throughout the holiday season. This is a way in which the students and faculty of Grace Miller give back to their community. Hearts are touched and the spirit of the holidays is cherished by all who attend. The event is free to all who come and will take place on Thursday, December 16th in the school cafeteria, with two separate reading time events. From 6:30 pm to 7:15 is for pre-k children through second grade, and from 7:15 pm to 8:00 pm is for grades 3-5.
