Massage for the Cure Now Taking Appointments for 2nd Annual La Verne Event

Massage Envy is preparing for the second annual Massage for the Cure in La Verne on Sept. 14.

Be the Envy of everyone on your block by getting a Massage Envy massage on Sept. 14, 2010, of which $15 from your one-hour $49 session will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Last year’s Massage for the Cure was a sell-out here in La Verne and this year’s event promises to be an even more beautiful affair, according to Massage Envy owner Jennifer Blaz.

“This year, we’re having a live band and a bake sale and several vendors, like Micky’s Jewelry Studio and Top Speed Running, which will be participating. It’s going to be a real community event.

Last year, the Massage Envy spas nationwide donated more than $500,000 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“Now with more than 900 national locations, we should well exceed that one-day total,” Blaz said.
