Save the date, Sept. 11, 2010, to celebrate L&G's 10th Annual Showoff.

You’re invited to the Morasans’ 10th Annual Custom Truck and Rod Show Off on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at their custom auto body repair, truck and paint business, better known as L&G Enterprises, in San Dimas. Admission is free.

This Show Off should be the best yet, with about 100 custom autos, trucks and pimped out motorcycles expected to be on display.

“It’s just a great time to see what everybody’s doing with their vehicles,” said Theresa, who runs L&G’s auto body repair shop with her husband Jason. “This event is about reconnecting with family and friends as well as reaching out to those in the community who may not know us or haven’t seen our facility.”

The facility at 882 W. Cienga Ave. spans more than 20,000 square feet. For close to three decades, it has offered the Southland’s finest custom and aftermarket services for cars, trucks and motorcycles, not to mention complete and comprehensive collision repairs.

From the time, the Show Off starts at 8 a.m. until closing at 4 p.m., there will be plenty of music and entertainment, including food, drinks and a special play area for kids. Raffle prizes will also be called out during the day.

“For our DJ, Omar Khan from world famous KROC is coming out and for live music, the Brats will be playing classic rock,” said Theresa who grew up at the knee of her parents Louie and Gerry (L&G), learning the custom auto and truck trade.

If anyone is interested in hosting a booth to showcase their car-related crafts, apparel and more, please contact Sara at (909) 599.2888. There is a $50 donation, which in turn will be donated to support local nonprofit groups such as McKinley’s Boys’ Home and CTEC, which offers a career track in the automotive sciences, including custom car, fleet maintenance and high performance programs through the Fairplex Education Foundation.

L&G’s family slogan is “We take pride in your ride.” It could just as easily be, “We take pride in our community.”

Mark the date, Sept. 11, 2010, on your calendar. For more information about the Showoff, visit L&G’s new website at http://landgenterprises.com/.
