Free Flu Shots for Ages, 60 and Over, Oct. 6

The City of La Verne will be hosting a flu shot clinic and health fair sponsored by Inter Valley Health Plan. The event will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the La Verne Community Center from 9 a.m. to noon. The fair will be open and free to all those ages 60 and over and for those with disabilities.

Free flu shots will be given on a first-come-first-served basis, therefore no appointments are needed. Arriving as early as possible is recommended. There will also be refreshments, food and vendors providing numerous senior services.
