Soccer to Me: AYSO Fall Registration, May 9, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Bonita

Kick start your season by signing up for La Verne/San Dimas AYSO Soccer.

La Verne/San Dimas AYSO Soccer will host the second of its three fall registration sign-ups, Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Bonita High School parking lot.

All boys and girls born between August 1, 1990 and January 31, 2005 may register to play. New players must bring a birth certificate or passport to register.

Registration fees are $100 for one player, $170 for two sibling players registering together and $220 for three or more sibling players registered at the same time.

Players who did not play in Region 112 last season must attend a skills assessment (available on registration dates). Bring your child in comfortable clothes and shoes. Assessment is a fun quick process. Tennis shoes or cleats are appropriate. No new team will be added to a team until assessment is completed.

Parents can register their players faster by going online to www.eayso.org. Print out four copies of the form, sign and bring to the “Preregistered” line at registration.

If you can’t make the May 9 sign-up at Bonita, one more will follow: Tuesday, June 9, 2009, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren, located on the corner of Bonita and “E” Street in downtown La Verne.
