Citizen Assistance

2700 Block of Arrow: Copacabana Mobile Home Park

9:38 p.m.

Reporting Person upset due to dog feces on her yard and also states neighbors up all hours. She states she is afraid. Now requesting extra patrol.

Suspicious Circumstances

2300 block of Pepper St.

2:34 p.m.

Reporting Person advised there is a 2-liter soda on the grass area by the park. She heard a loud pop and went to see what it was and saw the soda foaming. Reporting Person advised it’s not that bad any more but is thinking that the soda looks 925 (police code for Suspicious Person), that maybe they put something inside it.  Reporting Person is standing by at Pepper and Bolling.

Burglary Report

3500 block of Damien Ave.: Fountains Mobile Home Park

4:34 a.m.

Occurred within the past 30 minutes. Reporting Person advised her 2005 Honda Accord was broken into while parked in the carport and the mobile home was also broken into. Vehicle was ransacked and purse taken from inside location. No suspect seen, but car horn activated.

Roynon Elementary

2:14 p.m.

Reporting Person requesting contact due to an incident that occurred yesterday that she witnessed at location. Reporting Person advised she saw a childcare van with a child hanging from the van. Reporting Person advised she made contact with driver and director of the day care and they seemed not to care what they did.

Humane Problem

2400 block of College Lane

9:10 a.m.

Reporting Person advised dog is in a black Honda Fit. Reporting Person is concerned due to the heat. Dog is a small white poodle. Reporting Person advised the windows are cracked down a little.

Citizen Assistance

2600 block of San Dimas Canyon

10:30 a.m.

Reporting Person advised she is roommates with a subject who keeps harassing her on a daily basis over various things.

April 16

Juvenile Disturbance

3000 block of White Ave.

8:37 p.m.

Reporting Person’s 14-year-old-daughter is out of control. Reporting Person requesting contact. Juvenile mentioned she wanted to hurt herself.

Burglary Report

3300 block of Butterfield Ave.

4:04 p.m.

Reporting Person advised he just got to his mom’s house and the front door was wide open and his mom is at work. Reporting Person called mom and she advised she closed the door. Reporting Person advised looks like forced entry made to the rear window. Window is bent and open. Reporting Person advised mom left around 6 a.m. Reporting Person advised no one is inside location at this time.

Juvenile Disturbance

2400 block of Foothill Ave. Andy’s Shoe Repair

9:22 a.m.

Reporting Person advised the door is wide open and there is a note that they will be back at 1 p.m.

Grand Theft

2000 block of Wright Ave.

5:30 p.m.

Theft of copper pipes from front of building. Occurred within the past 45 minutes to hour.

Burglary

2200 block of Golden Hills

11:07 a.m.

Occurred between 8:50 p.m. April 13 and 8:40 a.m. today to find the house had been burglarized.

Disturbance

2100 block of Foothill Blvd.: Starbucks

7:42 a.m.

Stored manager called about a homeless female in a wheelchair lighting paper on fire inside and outside the store. They have asked her to leave and she refused.

Male subject on a bike with gray hooded sweat shirt and male in a beat up compact car.

Vandalism Report

2600 block of Fawn Circle

8:51 p.m.

Reporting Person advised wiring to video system was pulled out of the eaves of the house some time this afternoon.

Prowler

1700 block of Third St.

12:31 a.m.

Sounds of someone in the backyard of location. Shadow of a figure seen and also footsteps heard closer to a window by the master bedroom and the back door. Reporting Person advised she has dogs inside and one of them started growling. Reporting Person also heard sounds of a door handled being tried.

Petty Theft

7000 block of Wheeler Ave.

11:29 a.m.

Theft of a pillow from the Reporting Person’s front porch sometime over night. Reporting Person also concerned as a neighbor just north of them had a doormat taken over night
