Home Remodel questions
we have a 2 story town home with central air. the downstairs has a cold air return and stays cool in the summer. the upstairs does not have a cold air return. the second bedroom and bathroom [both upstairs, on the west side of the house(on the same side of the house as the air conditioner which is in the basement)] stay cool in the summer anyway but my our bedroom on the east side of the house opposit the air conditioner gets really hot and humid. do you know why? and what is the cheapest, most efficient, easiest way to fix this problem? putting in a return would be expensive because the AC is on the opposite side of the house through two floors. should i just put in a small vent like in the bathroom or get a dehumidifier or what?
