Grand Theft Auto

2400 block of Foothill

8:04 a.m.

2000 white Honda Civic taken from carport. No broken glass on scene.

Intoxicated Driver

Arrow/Fairplex

5:30 p.m.

Red pick-up facing eastbound at location. Male driver passed out.

Vandalism Report

2000 block of Third St.

9:15 p.m.

Subjects grafitting near the buses. Seen less than an hour ago. Reporting Person inside the church at this time. Subject possibly went over the wall at location.

Welfare Check

3600 block of Moreno Ave.

9:17 p.m.

Reporting Person advised his 76-year-old father is talking about killing himself. Subject tried to overdose last year. Subject upset over meds/pain. Guns have been taken out of the house. Family will stay with him.

Shots Heard

1600 block  of White Ave.

Reporting Personn advised he heard one gun shot coming from behind and east of location. Possibly from behind location.

Drug Violation

Quiznos La Verne

Informant advised of an older white male in a wheelchair smoking marijuana in the bathroom of location. Reporting Person advised subject tried to sell him marijuana.

Citizen Assist

3:41 p.m.

Reporting Person received a dead mouse in the mail.

Humane Problem

2700 block of Aldon Ave.

7:32 p.m.

Large mountain lion sighting near the gated entrance closer to Fire Station 3. Direction of travel was towards a trail on Esperanza. Reporting Person stated animal was not scared of her or her vehicle.

900 block of Nashport St.

9:12 a.m.

Theft of $6,000 and a check taken from the Reporting Person.

February 5, 2010

Mental Subject

2000 block of Third St.

8:28 a.m.

Informant advised the 77-year-old resident just attacked his wife at location and is becoming very violent. Subject has a history of Alzheimer’s. Negative on a battery. Dispute over money issues.

Solicitor

4900 block of St. Andres Ave.

5:38 p.m.

Male white, 16 to 18 years of age, attempting to sell magazines. Reporting Person states, “He weirded me out — he was asking if he could urinate on the side of the house.” Reporting Person told him no, and subject became verbal with Reporting Person. Caller upset because subject was irate to his grandmother. Subject left southbound on foot with two other females.

Vandalism Report

1500 block of Paseo Ave.

Reporting Person just arrived to above location to find home was vandalized by prior tenant. Gates, garage door, windows nailed shut. Reporting person unable to get inside. States prior tenant gave one week notice. Unknown if damage inside. Reporting Person contacted locksmith to gain entry.

9:21 p.m.

Juvenile out of control attacking staff. Unknown weapons, or under the influence. Subject still in bedroom.
