From Mammaries to Memories — La Verne Community Center to Offer Free Alzheimer’s Screening

In October, it was breast cancer awareness month; in November it’s memory screening month.

On Tuesday, Nov. 16, the City of La Verne will host a free Alzheimer’s screening sponsored by Inter Valley Health Plan 9 a.m. to noon at the La Verne Community Center located at 3680 “D” St.

The Alzheimer’s screening provides notification of any signs or symptoms related to Alzheimer’s disease. It will determine any impairment or behavioral setbacks.

In addition to the screening, there will be vendors offering a variety of senior services, guest speakers and free giveaways.
