This summer, about 150 Chinese students, ages 12 to 18, will come to the University of La Verne to study English and experience the American lifestyle. This cross-cultural program is offered by ESLA Consulting Inc. in conjunction with the University.
From July 18 through August 8, these Chinese students will require local families to host them during their La Verne stay. Families that wish to serve as hosts will receive $30 per night per student. One family can host up to four students.
