A New Home, and $500 Richer!

As a police officer, James Hubbard, Jr. knows the importance of following up. That insight paid off handsomely when his name was pulled by Realtor Marty Rodriguez as the lucky winner of a $500 Visa Gift Card. James had simply returned the business reply card that came with his 2010 calendar, asking if he’d like to participate in the free drawing and receive the new Marty 360 quarterly newsletter and other timely real estate-focused updates.

“I responded because they had done so good by me,” said James, who purchased his Glendora home through Century 21 Marty Rodriguez six months ago. His buyers’ agent was Larry Castruita. “The whole transaction was scary smooth,” James said. “There were no problems. I couldn’t even believe how successful everything went.”

James had responded to a flyer. “I called up Century 21 Marty Rodriguez and was really impressed with how they wanted to meet me right away and get me out there on the street, looking around. It was great.”

As for his first experience as a homeowner, he’s overjoyed. “It’s my house. I don’t have to pay rent anymore,” James said. “My money is actually going toward something — something I’m going to own for a long time.”
