At 9 a.m., head down the freeway to Cypress College to watch our Bonita ladies vie for the CIF crown against Hacienda Heights Los Altos in the Division 3-AA final at 10 in gym No. 2. Twice earlier in the season, the Lady Bearcats defeated the Conquerors, but getting the hat trick with so much on the line will not be easy. So come out and show your support.

And for those who like to gamble and ramble a little more on their Saturday nights, then please attend Holy Name of Mary School’s Casino Night and Silent/Live Auction at Mountain Meadows (1875 Fairplex Dr., Pomona) from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.There will be hors d’ oeuvres, a no-host bar, raffles and all your favorite casino-style games of chance, including black jack, 3-card poker, roulette and craps.
