The 1-1/2 acre rural atmosphere makes the La Verne Heritage Foundation Pumpkin Patch a wonderful place to pick out your pumpkin. There are many activities on hand including tractor rides, animals to pet, pumpkins of every size, and great photo opportunities.  This is the 20th year for the Harvest Pumpkin Patch to offer your family a spot in the country along with a little history of La Verne to enjoy.  The Pumpkin Patch is open to the public Saturday, Oct. 10 through Friday, Oct. 30 at Heritage Park in La Verne; weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  School tours begin weekdays, Oct. 13 through Oct. 30.  If your school is interested, please call for reservations.

Also, don’t miss out on the 7th Annual Pumpkin Patch Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  On display will be classic cars and trucks pre-1975.  Awards will be given, along with music, food and, of course, the pumpkin patch!  If you are interested in showing your classic car, or for more information, please visit the La Verne Heritage Foundation website at www.laverneheritage.org or call (909) 593-2862.

Heritage Park is at  5001 Via De Mansion in La Verne.
