Skateboarder Rescued in Emergency North La Verne Airlift

rescue111A 15-year-old skateboarder was found semi-conscious in the street by a passerby at the corner of Golden Hills and Monterey in north La Verne on Wednesday morning, Aug. 12.

After responding paramedics and other emergency personnel found signs of trauma and stabilized the teenage boy, he was quickly airlifted by Mercy Air to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center for treatment.

  2. couldn’t they have just put him in an ambulance, you know how much that helicopter ride is going to cost him.
